Start Where You Are! Now!

Focus and Just Do It!

In March of 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 4: Colon Cancer. And of course this was shocking and it’s something I’m dealing with to this day. But I will say, this diagnosis has changed my life in more ways than one and one of ways is in my business productivity!

My New Insight

I thought I would share with you one of the insights that I’ve really picked up on and that has been extremely helpful to me!

Some days I have more energy than others and I spend a lot of time working at my natural protocols to support my health on this journey. With that in mind when I do have a block of time or as I like to call them now ‘Life Blocks’ because I’m giving up a part of my life for that time, I’m really good at focusing and getting productive results.

In the past, I was too scattered with so many interests and I would get excited about so many things all at once making it hard to focus!

I was also one of those people, and you may relate to this, who thought I had to learn more, understand everything, take the next course, the next summit, go and get the next accreditation, and on and on it went before I could take action on something or promote anything. And now I realize how crazy that was!

Just pick something and focus and apply yourself even if it’s just for 15 minutes!

You Just Have to do Something

This has been a game-changer for me!! And in more ways than one! It is so FREEING! I am getting huge results with small focused efforts. I don’t waste any time worrying, pondering, or overthinking anymore because I am too busy doing!

“Screw it. Just do it!

I hope that you found this helpful and that you can incorporate this into your life before it becomes a necessity like it did with me. The other thing that happens when you are diagnosed with what they say “is an incurable illness” you don’t care so much about all the details and what people think! It’s much easier to go full speed ahead and I wish I had been more like this earlier in the game.

Have a great day everyone!
