Asset of Liability? One of my favorite questions to ask and I ask often. 🙂
For example, this morning I was lying in bed and my daughter came to lay with me for a few minutes before she got ready to go to school. When it was about time for her to start getting her butt out of bed to get ready for school she started saying things like “Oh I don’t want to get out of this bed” and “This bed is so comfy” etc. 🙂
Go To Bed When I Am Tired & Get Up When I’m Done Sleeping….
I said to Sivanna, that is why I am an entrepreneur honey. I get up when I am done sleeping (a wee bit annoyed she woke me up, but not much… so worth it hee hee), and go to bed when I am tired. 🙂 This has been my motto for many years now.
This whole convo brought me back in my thoughts to when I was a civil servant and worked for the government in my 20’s. I remember leaving my bed in the morning with total dread and saying goodbye to my pillow telling it I would see it later. 🙂
I also thought back to times when I would imagine not having to work and being able to ♥ enJOY ♥ eating breakfast sitting outside in the sun. It reminded me about the power of imagination and visualization and how it truly works if you are focused and passionate about your desires. (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Today I do these things and I live my life by my design. ♥
Back to our convo though. I said to Sivanna. “Honey you might want to think more about being an entrepreneur”. She said, what quit school?” (She is 13 btw). I said “No, but you know how you started working for me helping with my online stuff, well maybe start doing more of that and we can even get you making your own online income.” I suggested she spend more time at that instead of PLAYING on her phone.
I asked her what she did on her phone and she said “You know check Snapchat, TikTok and watch videos on Youtube”…. So then I stung her with my famous question that she is all too famailiar with. “Honey when you do that is your phone an asset or a liability”? She knew the answer. LOL An asset is something that makes you money and a liability is something that costs you money. 💙
My phone makes me money. 💙💙💙!!! I love being in a line up in the grocery store. It gives me a chance to hammer away on my virtual golden switchboard aka money maker. 🙂
In closing always remember the golden question. Is it an asset or a liability? Your TV for example: do you use it to watch TV and watch stories about other people’s lives or do you use it for example, to do a presentation to a group of entrepreneurs who are joining your sales team? You get the idea. 🙂
