Handling Price Objection Using Pizza Psychology :-)

I was over on the platform Alignable this morning and I ran across a question in the Advice asked for section around handling price objection or when people are trying to buy your products or services and wanting a discount. It took me back in time to a moment that has helped me a lot…….

It was years ago when a friend of mine who owned a Pizzeria told me this:

“If you give a discount on a pizza they expect it every time (what you set in motion carries in motion) so what I do instead is every once in awhile if friends or good customers come in often, I give them a free pizza.”

My friend meant that he does not give a discount on the pizzas because they would expect it every time. However, if he gave a free pizza every so often, his good customers felt special and were super happy and thankful.

These words from my friend helped me over the years immensely! Now I give specials or random perks and giveaways to customers just because and it makes them feel special (because they are to me) and they love it!
