I was talking with a friend the other day about how our stocks are doing…. not good. Anyhoo, it got me thinking about how things can change in a heartbeat. Anytime, anywhere. CEO’s leave a company for whatever reason… fired, removed, step down etc., take-overs happen and the list goes on. Supply and demand changes, competition emerges, trends change… and the list goes on… it always goes on.
Things happen all the time and you just never know how things will go. I read an article today from 2017 about Wework and how well they were doing. I had never heard of this company, believe it or not, and was impressed so I Googled to learn more about them… well they are not doing so well right now and they are all over the news about it. Once again reminding us that things can change at anytime.
And now the Good News:
After some feelings of overwhelm thinking about things, I had a Eureka moment, if things can change like this, they can also change in a heartbeat in a positive way! Yes, maybe that one idea you have IS going to boom! Maybe that blog post will go viral! Yes, maybe you will tap into the million dollar marketing idea and watch the cashola roll in. Yes! Yes! Yes!
And as I have blogged about before, many times, the power of your mind and your expectations are HUGE. So let’s all run with this one shall we? 🙂
I literally have trouble sleeping at night or trying to sleep longer in the mornings. I just want to get up and start creating. I feel as though a creative monster or super power has awakened in me!
My head spins with ideas for creation, marketing and inspiring others.
My breath gets taken away when I think of the potential for reaching the world through the internet and all of the tools and platforms available to us right now. And there are new ones coming out every day!
I am having so much fun playing with photo editors, video creation tools, social media platforms, engaging in groups, blogging and the list goes on and on and on. I see it all as art.
Thanks for taking the time to read what I felt I had to express today. 🙂 I’m bursting with JOYful exuberance about all of this.
Have a great day everyone!
And please, please see the opportunities before you… there are so many!
As a Certified Infinite Possibilities Trainer & Coach I both use and teach three useful questions when testing out new ideas, especially when it comes to anything to do with sharing of information that will make a difference in someone’s life or work. I love to Inspire.
I believe these questions are helpful in whatever we do in business or in life. We are all looking to be more authentic and raw and that is a beautiful thing. When we bring our heart into our work it adds a whole new depth to the term ‘Service.”
Perhaps you will find these questions useful in your life and work.
Here they are:
To quickly achieve clarity and have confidence in a new idea, ask the following 3 questions:
The best time to feed an idea is when it is birthed. Just like a baby… if you don’t feed it, it will die. When you get an idea for your business or for a new direction, start to take action immediately so you get the momentum going.
Taking action is an important step in any endeavor. We can come up with great ideas, talk about them, expand them, but if we don’t take action, we get nowhere.
I love information and when I see something that is a topic that inspires me, or an article, blog post, picture, etc., I simply send myself that article or piece, as a reminder that I want to ‘write about it’.
I have set up a separate email account just for myself that is for my blogging, so when I run across something that inspires me, I just shoot it off to my email. It’s kind of like a digital filing cabinet for my ideas that I can access from anywhere.
Actually, I have set up many emails for this purpose. For example for my travel notes and itineraries, my to do list, etc. It works like a charm because my main email is home to a few hundred thousand emails (I don’t delete), and I subscribe to a lot of things (more ideas for me ) and this keeps these email accounts separate and targeted to my topic at hand i.e. “for blogging”.
I hope you found this helpful and happy blogging!

In all my years as an entrepreneur and business owner, one of the key things that I feel is so important and something that I go back to time and time again is the simple art of taking the first step!
I am a very creative person and my mind is firing ideas and creativity all day (and night 🙂 ) long! None of this matters unless you apply it and it is something I have struggled with for years…. too many ideas and not enough focus. However, I have been able to change this for the better simply by ‘doing something’ which is similar to a first step.
For example, I recently started this business blog. That was a first step. I thought about how I have so much experience in all kinds of business and how I love to share and help people with what I have learned over the years, so I thought hey why not blog about it? And I took the step and started the blog.
The best time to feed an idea is when it’s born. 🙂 Then it starts to grow on its own and will expand and adapt as one goes along. The other key after taking a first step are taking small steps like I am doing… trying to write a blog post here every other day or so. It’s not that I don’t want to, or for lack of content or commitment, but more so time… there is only so much time in a day, but because I took that first step I’m in the game. 🙂
Now it’s baby steps, putting one foot in front on the other until I will be up and running and off to my next first step.
What about you? Is it time to take the first step on something? Another way to look at is “taking the plunge”…. take the plunge and let the details work themselves out as you go along. So often we analysis everything to death and it stops us in our tracks. Successful people take plunges and get things done. 🙂
